Η Μαρία Πανοπούλου γεννήθηκε το 1999 στην Αρχαία Ολυμπία. Σήμερα κατοικεί στην Αθήνα, όπου σπουδάζει στο Τμήμα Ιστορίας και Αρχαιολογίας του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου, με ειδίκευση στον τομέα της Αρχαιολογίας και της Ιστορίας της Τέχνης. Το 2021 συμμετείχε στη μετάφραση της Ανθολογίας νέων Πορτογάλων ποιητών και το 2022 μετέφρασε την ποιητική συλλογή Stormwarning της Kristín Svava Tómasdóttir, που κυκλοφόρησαν και οι δύο από τις εκδόσεις Vakxikon. Από το 2020 λαμβάνει μέρος και σε προφορικούς ποιητικούς διαγωνισμούς, όπου και διακρίθηκε.

Maria Panopoulou was born in 1999 in Ancient Olympia, Peloponnese. She currently resides in Athens, where she studies at the Department of History and Archaeology of the National and Kapodistrian University, specializing in the field of Archaeology and Art History. In 2021 she participated in the translation of the Anthology of young Portuguese poets and in 2022 she translated the poetry collection Stormwarning by Kristín Svava Tómasdóttir, both of which were published by Vakxikon Publications. Since 2020, she has also taken part in oral poetry competitions, where she has been distinguished.
